The Mercy Center of Arizona was born from personal reflection and a profound response to the silent crisis of behavioral health that touches every corner of our society. For founders Oliver and Keesha Davy, this mission is deeply personal.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Oliver tragically lost his sibling after a long battle with mental illness and substance use. Around the same time, Keesha witnessed a close family member’s devastating struggle with prescription drug addiction, which ultimately led to street drug dependence. These heartbreaking experiences opened their eyes to a painful truth—no family, no community, and no individual is immune to the impact of addiction and mental health disorders.
Recognizing the urgent need for compassionate, nonjudgmental care, they established the Mercy Center as a place of hope, healing, and second chances. At its core, Mercy means offering grace not just once, but again and again—whether it's a second, third, or even fourth chance at life.
Today, the Mercy Center stands as a haven for individuals seeking recovery, transformation, and dignity. We are here because everyone deserves the opportunity to heal.
Our mission is to guide and empower individuals to maximize their potential, increasing theiropportunities for successful integration into society and becoming productive, self-sufficient citizens.
We envision a future where every person has the support, skills, and opportunities needed to thrivein their personal and professional lives. We are committed to fostering lasting transformation byproviding the resources, training, and partnerships that help individuals succeed.

We believe in building strong connections within the community to create opportunities for everyone.
Our goal is to be a catalyst for lasting change, guiding individuals through every step of their journey toward success.
We are committed to creating lasting change by supporting individuals on their journey to rebuild their lives.
Belief in Second Chances: We believe in the power of second chances. Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and rebuild their lives, regardless of their past mistakes or struggles. Drug addiction and behavioral issues are not a reflection of someone’s worth but rather a challenge that can be overcome with the right support, understanding, and resources.
Commitment to Compassionate Care: Helping individuals in rehab is about more than just treating a condition; it’s about offering compassion, empathy, and respect. We believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where those in recovery can feel supported and understood. Recovery is a deeply personal journey, and a compassionate approach helps individuals feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
Holistic Healing: We believe that true recovery addresses the whole person—not just the addiction or behavioral issues. It’s about physical, emotional, and mental well-being. We recognize the importance of offering comprehensive care, including therapy, counseling, and life skills training, as well as fostering a sense of community, to help individuals heal in every aspect of their lives.
Empowerment Through Choice: Empowerment is at the heart of recovery. We believe that giving individuals the power to make choices in their recovery process fosters a sense of ownership and control over their lives. Whether it’s setting recovery goals, deciding on treatment paths, or taking part in group discussions, offering autonomy is a critical aspect of recovery.
Support Systems Matter: Addiction and behavioral challenges don’t happen in a vacuum, and recovery doesn’t either. We believe in the importance of a strong, supportive network, including family, friends, and counselors, who can encourage and motivate individuals during their journey. Long-term success is often linked to the involvement of positive relationships and mentorships throughout the recovery process.
The Power of Resilience: We have a deep belief in the resilience of the human spirit. Many individuals in drug rehab and those facing behavioral challenges exhibit incredible strength to confront their difficulties. Recovery is often a long and challenging road, but we believe that with the right tools and support, everyone has the potential to overcome obstacles and create a better future.
Breaking the Cycle: We believe that breaking the cycle of addiction and harmful behaviors is not just about abstinence, but also about teaching individuals healthier coping mechanisms, problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate difficult emotions. Recovery means creating a life that is fulfilling and sustainable without relying on drugs or harmful behaviors.
Fostering Hope: Above all, we believe that hope is the foundation of recovery. Every step toward healing, no matter how small, is a victory. We believe in fostering hope by helping individuals visualize a future free from addiction or destructive behaviors, where they can live fulfilled lives and contribute positively to their communities.
The Importance of Patience: We believe that recovery takes time, and it’s important to be patient. Healing is not linear, and setbacks may occur, but each day is an opportunity for growth. We believe in providing continuous support and encouragement, helping individuals move forward at their own pace.
Celebrating Progress, Not Perfection: We believe that recovery is about progress, not perfection. It’s important to celebrate each milestone, no matter how big or small, and recognize the effort and courage it takes to move forward. We see every step of progress as a testament to the individual’s strength and determination to create a healthier, more fulfilling life.
These beliefs are grounded in the idea of treating those with drug rehabilitation and behavioral issues with respect, care, and compassion. They emphasize healing, empowerment, support, and the recognition of the individual’s strength, offering a hopeful and positive outlook on the process of recovery.
